” There are days….” PART 1

There are days I….
Dream of finding you
In the midst of familiar faces
In the hue of broken images
At the crossroads
Of passion and craze
Of heart and soul

There are days...
I behave like a klepto
A jambazi
Stealing glances
Of your beauty
That’s charming
Mesmerizing

There are days I…
I look at you
And all I can do is whisper
Thanksgiving to the one who
Breathed life to you
Coz you are absolutely
High dropped gorgeous

His Words

His word is Alive and real Breathes life and fire Creates and makes Restores and renews His words are…. Words that emanate From a cauldron of truth That flows through The crevices of your heart Illuminating the dark parts Revealing your true self Words hinged   On the promise of redemption Words that cut through Sharper than a double edged sword Words that liberate Inflict a deathly blow To ignorance and foolishness That makes one wise Words that are weighty That anchors the soul That gives direction That points to the tree Free of partiality Words that are majestic Beautiful and lovely A present from The past and the future Words that are evergreen Words that speak comfort To the hurting and broken Words that heal That sows seeds of joy Words full of hope Melts all your fear Rallies you That gives you the courage To stand and believe Words that move mountains Words full of faith Words that make sense In all this confusion In all this fake fusion Of twisted ideas Words that are re...

001

It has been a solid two months of posting and I want to thank those who have read every post! You know yourselves. Why saltedpen?   Salt adds flavor and preserves. Using the pen I want to bring about a change infused with those inherent qualities. Mathew 5:13 says it much better. History month was great but I do have to admit being confined to bounds of a theme did bring some sense of appreciation for structure (bound by this word…structure>>> follows me). The patience of writing, the beauty of it; the fact that it flows from a thought makes it so exciting. The final full stop leaves you with glee and even though you don’t know how it will end …..You write. It’s more like life. All the pieces may never seem to fit but when you reach the twilight, that’s when it starts to make sense. And through a pair of brand new eyes illuminated by God, you look at things differently. For the next posts will be theme free; unless there is one…anyone. T h ank you again for your reading...
